On the 6th of September 2009 the Stud welcomed the Avon & Border Counties WP&CA as well as a number of other visitors to a full display of the youngstock, mares & stallions which were at the stud at the time. In all, 44 animals were paraded in the arena before an appreciative audience, with an informative and interesting commentary being provided by Mr Geraint Davies of the Rhyd ddu Stud Pictured above is Abergavenny Morning Queen, who gave one of the most impressive displays of the day.
Many thanks to all those who helped out with the preparation and handling of the animals throughout the day and also to those who lent a hand to Bev in the kitchen to help get all the guests fed and watered after the display.
