It was with much sadness that we had to say goodbye to our senior stallion Derwen Railway Express at the beginning of March 2010. As he entered his 32nd year, his health had started to falter and hard as the decision was, we knew that the time had come. His legacy at our stud and others will never be forgotten. With four daughters retained at the stud, as well as a number of granddaughters, we will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to stand such an influential sire at our stud. A prolific sire, with many of his progeny also continuing to prove themselves well into their 20’s, we are sure that he will continue to stamp his stock via his offspring for many more generations to come.
